To make a reservation please contact the SCLC Ecotourism Coordinator or by phone at 506.2761.2082.

Reservations should be made 30 days in advance to allow for adequate preparation and coordination with a our activity providers.

To confirm your reservation we require a 50% deposit 30 days in advance. We require the remaining 50% to be paid within 15 days of the activity date.

Payments can be made by deposit to our Banco Nacional account # 200-02-139-002280-0 under the name Centro de Aprendizaje para la Conservcion en Sarapiqui.  Once the reservation is made SCLC administration will send you an
with complete payment information.

Your reservation can only be confirmed once we have received a down payment. If we have not received your payment, your requested date and time of activity is not considered confirmed.

All prices noted DO NOT INCLUDE TRANSPORTATION. All participants are required to provide their own transport, unless they have requested transportation to be arraged by the SCLC with at least 15 days advanced notice.

All times listed in this document reflect optimum scheduling based on our experience with tour groups. 

Cancellations:  If cancellation requests are received:

30 days prior to confirmed activity:   No Penalty
15-29 days prior to confirmed activity:  50% of total cost
14 days or fewer prior to confirmed activity: 75% of total cost
No show:      100% of total cost

Rescheduling activities:
If a group has made a reservation and needs to reschedule in fewer than 29 days prior to the confirmed activity, a $50 rescheduling fee will be charged.

Late Arrival Policies:
In case your group will arrive late we request that the guides or agencies call at least one hour before the scheduled activity.  If the groups will be more than 30 minutes your reservation is subject to the availability of the SCLC staff. If your group will be more than 1 hour late, and the center can still accommodate your group a late fee of $50 will be charged.
Groups who arrive more than half hour late without notice will be considered a NO SHOW, and a penalty of 100% of the activity cost will be charged.

National Pricing: Costa Ricans receive special pricing for our activities. Please contact us to receive these prices.

Children: Our activities are for persons aged 12 and up.  The SCLC does not provide supervision for children under the age of 12. Children who participate or attend the activity will be charged as such:
0 – 5 years: Free
6 – 8 years: Half price
