ESL teachers aid:  While many of the schools here have English teachers, the class sizes are overwhelmingly large and human resources are stretched.  This position is ideal for individuals with ESL experience and those who are interested in working with children. 

Tourism Assistant: Assists with Tourism Programs.

Summer Camp Facilitators.  January 2011.

Sarapiquí students have their "summer holiday" during December and January. Every year SCLC hosts a summer day-camp full of games and activities designed to open students up to the world around them and re-iterate topics such as conservation, recycling, multiculturalism and exercise - just to name a few!   This year we are looking for 1 -2 volunteers to assist with the preparing and presentation of camp to make this successful program even more enriching!!  

 Local Fundraising Assistant: Helps to promote SCLC in local community and implement Local Corporate Sponsorship Program and grant writing.

Garden Manager: Improves and maintainsgarden, including organizing, planting, labeling and tending

Computer Program Instructor: Website improvement, Conductstraining courses on different computer programs during day

Develop materials for Afterschool and Environmental Education Activities

Assist with Afterschool Program
