Job Description:
- Facilitate and oversee all volunteer-run programs and activities, run by a mix of local staff
- Develop, assist, and evaluate all of the SCLC's environmental and educational programs
- Liaison between the center and local home stay families, program participants, and the communities which it serves
- Recruit future volunteers and evaluate current volunteers and their programs
- Promote the SCLC via regular webpage and online updates
- Compile a quarterly newsletter
Qualified applicants will have:
- Experience successfully managing people and overseeing projects
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with MS Excell and database management
- High level proficiency in Spanish and English
- Experience or a strong interest in conservation, teaching, youth development, ornithology, and other aspects related to the SCLC's mission
- Creativity, ability to think on their feet, sense of humor
