Dates: September 2010-March 2011

Job Description:

• Facilitate and oversee all volunteer-run programs and activities, run by a mix of local staff
• Develop, assist, and evaluate all of the SCLC's environmental and educational programs
• Liaison between the center and local home stay families, program participants, and the communities which it serves
• Recruit future volunteers and evaluate current volunteers and their programs
• Promote the SCLC via regular webpage and online updates
• Compile a quarterly newsletter

Qualified applicants will have:

• Experience successfully managing people and overseeing projects
• Strong communication skills
• Familiarity with MS Excell and database management
• High level proficiency in Spanish and English
• Experience or a strong interest in conservation, teaching, youth development, ornithology, and other aspects related to the SCLC's mission
• Creativity, ability to think on their feet, sense of humor
